Lien's Viet Kitchen: A Taste of Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine in Houston

Great place to ribeye pho. Will need to try other meats outside brisket. The indoor seating is very small so plan ahead for large parties. Free lemon chilled water. Small parking lot but enough for the seating.

LOVE this place. The food is so good. Really punches above its weight. The noodle bowl is so delicious. Portions are generous. Simply so good.

Delicious Banh Mi, But Mediocre Service There are so many Vietnamese restaurants in Houston offering Banh Mi, but this one is conveniently located near me. Their ribeye Banh Mi is absolutely delicious! I love the marinade on the meat, and I’ve been hooked on it since the first bite. On a whim, I also tried their pho broth. I wasn’t a fan, but I think it’s just because I’m not a fan of the herbs traditionally used in pho broth. However, back to the Banh Mi—it’s really the highlight of my visits. Now, while the food is great, the customer service leaves much to be desired. In my experience, it’s been very mediocre—there’s a lack of enthusiasm, no smiles, and the staff comes off as robotic. Aside from the proximity and the delicious Banh Mi, I probably wouldn’t return, especially considering the service. I also tried the cream cheese wontons (or rangoons, depending on who you ask). They were pretty tasty! If I wasn’t trying to cut back on dairy, I would definitely order them every time I visit.

Chill spot for some yummy Viet food! I ordered the grilled shrimp bahn mi, pork dumplings and lychee tea with strawberry bursts. It was so good and the price was spot on for a quick lunch.

We were very pleased with the food and service at Lien's. The food was hot, fresh and fast, and the portions were huge, including plenty of protein. The atmosphere was nice, too. It wasn't too loud, and was nicely decorated. As others have mentioned, the parking lot is not ideal and you'll definitely want to slow down and come in on an angle if you're driving something lower to the ground. Highly recommend Lien's!

This restaurant is so great, and everything was delicious! Ordering the counter was easy, the employees were nice, and the price was reasonable for the amount of food you get. The sauce for the wok plate was incredible, and the chicken was seasoned so well. Veggies were fresh and the bubble tea was flavorful, and they put a lot of the topping I ordered in the drink! Not the fanciest place, but would highly recommend for a chill lunch spot.

Service was quick and ordering was easy. The menu wasn’t too complicated. Parking is small but street parking is available close by. The pho bowl was really good! My friend tried the ribeye bahn mi and she definitely recommends it.
